Matthew was part of the original Pole Arnold business in the noughties, and we are very pleased to have him as part of our team.
Matthew brings with him over 30 years of experience in advising companies, high net worth individuals and families on the careful management of their financial needs. He has held management and senior adviser roles in the past which has given him the knowledge and expertise to provide clients with truly holistic financial planning advice.
Matthew is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner and holds a Diploma in Financial Planning.
Louise worked for 8 years in Financial Services as an administrator specialising in life, pensions and Investments before joining the Pole Arnold team.
Louise is now a Client Manager providing a proactive service to our clients.
Head of Risk and Compliance
Tim has worked within the financial services sector for over 25 years. Having worked within a large life company, a SIPP and SSAS operator, several IFA and wealth management firms, as well as an employee benefits consultancy and a discretionary management firm, Tim has a diverse and varied skill set.
Rachel is a strong believer in comprehensive financial planning and building long-term relationships with her clients. She enjoys working with other specialist professional advisers in order to provide a complete service and streamlined solutions to deliver her clients’ goals. Rachel is an associate of the Personal Finance Society (PFS) and the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). Having achieved advanced diplomas status with the CII, Rachel is a Chartered Financial Planner and a Certified Financial Planner with the Institute of Financial Planning. She is also an affiliate member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practioners (STEP). These advanced technical qualifications enable her to deliver advice to her clients across a broad spectrum of their financial planning needs.
Prior to joining Pole Arnold, Rachel worked as a senior adviser for the financial planning arms of both a medium (top 50) and large (top 7) sized accountancy practice, providing advice to their private and business clients.
Adelle has been working in financial services since leaving school. She has been involved in the Independent Financial Advice area providing support as a Financial Services Administrator and Paraplanner.
Adelle joined the Pole Arnold team as a Client Manager providing a proactive service to our clients and is currently working towards her Diploma in Financial Services.
As his role as client manager, Simon Supports and works closely with Mike Pole, his clients and other members of the team to deliver an efficient, personalised experience for our Clients. Simon has brought with him 11 years of valuable experience in Pensions and is working towards his Diploma in financial services.
With more than 10 Years experience administering clients financial affairs, Kerry’s role is to provide an efficient and streamlined service and a point of contact for Mike Nevill and Rachel’s clients. Kerry is known for her caring attitude and ability to work as part of a team which helps her manage the on-going client relationships.
Rhi joined Pole Arnold straight from University in 2015. Rhi Strives to provide a highly professional service to our clients and this is reflected in the smooth efficiency she brings to her Client Manager role within Mike Pole’s team. Rhi is affectionately known for her warm and friendly manner.
In her spare time, Rhi is studying for her Diploma in financial services and enjoys spending her evenings running with her friends.
Rob has been providing specialist advice for family businesses, entrepreneurs and high net worth individuals for over 15 years. Rob originally joined Mike Pole in 1999 and continued working as part of the same national IFA and accountancy business where he was a member of the Investment Committee and managed key relationships with a large Private Banking Group, before returning to Pole Arnold Financial Management in April 2013.
Kathy is your first point of contact on reception when you phone in or visit our City centre office.
Steph joined Eagle Star straight from school and has been involved in financial services ever since. She moved on to Prudential to act as an IFA Administrator followed by a move to Alliance & Leicester as Business Quality Administrator. Mike Pole recruited Steph in 2001 to join Pole Arnold Limited acting firstly as a Corporate Administrator and then becoming a Client Manager to Mike’s portfolio of clients, a role she still holds in the new organisation.
Steph’s role is to make sure everything happens when it needs to happen whether in preparation for a client meeting, processing a client request or dealing promptly with any matters arising.
Becky worked for three years in Financial Services as an administrator specialising in life and pensions before joining the Pole Arnold team.
Becky is now a Client Manager providing a proactive service to our clients.
Julie has worked in the financial services industry for over 20 years from first joining Prudential Holborn in 1993 as a financial services administrator. Julie joined Pole Arnold Ltd in 1998 as a personal administrator and over the years held various roles including Mortgage Consultant, Client Manager and Administration Manager. Julie joins Pole Arnold as Administration Manager / Paraplanner.
Before setting up his Independent Financial Advisory business in 1991, Mike spent 15 years in a number of Executive Director roles at city financial institutions including Fidelity Investments and a subsidiary of Prudential Assurance.
The IFA business grew successfully over a period of 11 years before forming the Financial Services division of a quoted national accountancy practice. In 2006 he teamed up with Mike Pole and they continued to build the business as Chairman and Managing Director respectively.
With over 20 years experience as an IFA, Mike brings a wealth of knowledge to assist clients in achieving their financial objectives particularly in the fields of investment and retirement planning.
Along with the rest of the team Mike is passionate about delivering a quality service to clients and about building an enduring relationship with them.
Moira began her accountancy career almost 25 years ago with Pole Arnold Chartered Accountants.
Having completed her training and qualifying with them, Moira spent many years heading up their outsourcing service line, providing all manner of accounting support to clients and local businesses.
Moira now looks after the finance function for Pole Arnold Financial Management on a part time basis, providing management accounts, forecasts and budgets.
Jayne joined the original Pole Arnold Accountants in 1998 as a general administration assistant before moving to the financial management division in 2007 as part of the finance team and acting more recently as a client support administrator. Earlier in her career Jayne worked for Oakland Elevators for 21 years, starting as a receptionist before moving to the accounts department as head of purchase ledger. After the birth of her son she went back into a part time position in the buying department at the same company.
Mike originally set up his own Independent Financial Advisory business in 1995 which grew to a team of 25 within 5 years, providing a personalised IFA service to corporate and individual clients in the Midlands and South. This became part of a national IFA and accountancy company, and Mike became Managing Director of the enlarged IFA business as well as continuing to look after his clients. Mike was also a member of the Executive Board under the Plc involved in wider business and strategic aspects.
Mike’s first hand experience of running his own smaller business and operating at a high level in a national company combined with his experience in financial planning, investment and pensions management enables him to provide clients with comprehensive and clear financial advice.
Mike is passionate about the Pole Arnold culture of providing clients with a first class all round service.
After Graduating from Leicester University Margaret joined the Financial Services profession and specialised in the area of Self Administered Pension Schemes for a number of years. She was involved in both the Administration and Technical side of pensions. Margaret joined Mike Pole in 2000 to help develop the specialist pension offering for Pole Arnold Ltd.
As the business grew and changed she moved into Management and Procedural roles for the business at a National Level. This role developed further and she became responsible for a number of offices across the East and West Midlands Region until joining Pole Arnold Financial Management Ltd.
Richard is a highly experienced and skilled IFA with over 20 year’s industry experience. Prior to joining Pole Arnold Financial Management in June 2014 he was predominantly involved with top 10 accountancy firms providing a personalised and individual service to both private and corporate clients.
In addition Richard held senior positions within the financial management divisions of the accountancy firms as well as heading the relationship with a large UK Private Banking Group where, for over a decade he and the team were responsible for serving clients’ complex pension needs.
Richard brings with him a significant level of experience and knowledge specifically in the private client arena.
